Dealing with Allegations of Research Misconduct
For publication of a research article in Time’s Journey (TJ), every author is expected to conduct research in accordance with the highest acceptable ethical standards, which are practiced all across the world. Fabrication, falsification, deviation from the existing ethical practices, breach of confidentiality, allegations of disclosure problem, plagiarism issues in performing, reviewing, reporting research results, fall under misconduct. TJ sanctions zero tolerance for research misconduct, during the process of pre-publication or post-publication, in any aspect of research; and demands prompt investigation, resolution, and penalization for all such allegations under HEC Policy on Research Ethics in particular and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in general. The Chief Editor TJ will determine whether or not an inquiry is warranted and to submit its final report when all necessary reviews, investigations, hearings and appeals are dealt with. In all such cases, TJ encourages and expects that all members of the scientific community liaise in reporting and responding to suspected research misconduct activity within its ambit, while adhering to the final decision taken under this policy.
